In his recent televised address, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a military operation against Iran. He noted:
“Our primary task is to ensure the safety of the American people by eliminating threats posed by the Iranian regime, which is a brutal and ruthless group.”
He also added: “Their threatening activity poses a danger to the United States, our servicemen, bases abroad, and our international allies.”
Trump continued: “For 47 years, the Iranian authorities have chanted ‘Death to America’ and have waged an endless war full of violence and mass killings directed against our state, our soldiers, and peaceful citizens in various countries.”
According to information published by The New York Times, the decision to carry out attacks was made after Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the results of negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program.
Israeli media, meanwhile, report on the possible elimination of General Amir Hatami, the commander of the Iranian army, although official sources have not yet confirmed this information.
Iranian citizens report that Israeli intelligence was able to hack the "Bad Sabah" app, which is designed to determine prayer times: instead of the usual prayer time, users received a message calling for the overthrow of the Iranian regime, as reported by Iran International.
