
Recently, a meeting took place in the Chinese city of Jinan between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, and the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Shandong, Lin Wu. This information was disseminated by the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
During the discussion, both sides summarized the high level of strategic partnership between the two countries and explored opportunities for deepening interregional cooperation. Special attention was paid to strengthening ties between Kyrgyz regions and Shandong province.
Edil Baisalov raised issues regarding the activation of practical cooperation, including the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan, which will contribute to the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
He noted: "Over the past five years, thanks to the effective leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, Kyrgyzstan has demonstrated high rates of socio-economic growth. The country needs to move to a new level of development, which implies the introduction of modern production technologies, the opening of export-oriented enterprises, and the creation of jobs for youth. In this regard, the government is developing new state programs and intends to actively cooperate with China, relying on its experience."
Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, confirmed readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation, including the development of investment projects, the launch of new initiatives in industry, and the activation of humanitarian exchanges.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on further steps to strengthen interregional interaction and continue joint work on the implementation of the agreements reached.
As part of the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation also familiarized itself with the operations of several leading machine engineering enterprises in the province.
