A contract has been signed for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant complex in the Chui agro-industrial zone. The project is being implemented in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1057-T and represents a key element of the comprehensive development of the region, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The complex will provide modern wastewater treatment, which will help reduce the negative impact on the environment and create conditions for the deep processing of livestock products, including meat, leather, gelatin, and offal.

As the Ministry of Agriculture adds, the coordination of the development of the zone is carried out by JSC "Kyrgyz Agroholding." The customer for the work is the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Management, which is part of the Ministry of Agriculture. The contractor responsible for design, equipment supply, and construction work is the Chinese company China Road.

The implementation of this project will significantly improve the infrastructure of the agro-industrial zone, enhance production safety, strengthen environmental sustainability, and make the region more attractive for investment.
