Abdulmalik Tashmatov Appointed Chief Imam-Khatib of the City of Kyzyl-Kiya

A new chief imam-khatib has been appointed in Kyzyl-Kiya.

According to information provided by local sources, Tashmatov Abdulmalik Abdimitalipovich has become the acting chief imam-khatib of the Batken region. The order of appointment was signed by the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan, Abdulaziz Zakirov, on March 3.

The introduction of the new chief imam-khatib took place with the participation of Muratali Mamadiyar uulu, who represents the muftiate in the Batken region.

Tashmatov Abdulmalik Abdimitalipovich was born on August 26, 1989, in the village of Karavan, located within Kyzyl-Kiya, Batken region.

Education

- From 2002 to 2006, he studied at the "Atanazar Kaary" madrasah, where he became a hafiz, memorizing the Quran.

- From 2006 to 2008, he continued his religious education at the madrasah named after Maatkabyly uulu Sharshenbay ajy.

- From 2010 to 2018, he studied at the Faculty of Usul ad-Din (Foundations of Religion) at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, where he also received an ijazah (permission to teach) in ten methods of Quran recitation from the sheikhs.

- From 2020 to 2022, he obtained a master's degree in theology at the Kyrgyz State University named after Ischenaly Arabayev.

Work Experience

- From 2019 to 2022, he worked as a teacher at the Academy of Quran Sciences located in Bishkek.

- From 2022 to 2025, he served as the director of the same academy.

- Since 2025, he has been working as the deputy director of the "Borbash" madrasah located in the Nookat district.
