Thanks to the effective cooperation of the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan with the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan, citizen T.D., who was wanted for large-scale fraud, was extradited from Baku. After completing all necessary extradition procedures, he was brought to Bishkek under the protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, where he was placed in a pre-trial detention center for further criminal prosecution.
According to information from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, T.D. deceived two victims, illegally acquiring more than 46 million soms, which led to significant financial losses, after which he left the country.
The supervisory authority's statement notes that the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic is consistently taking measures to enhance the effectiveness of international cooperation in the field of criminal law and to ensure the inevitability of criminal liability.
