In response to the remarks of Deputy Zhaanbaev, the State National Security Committee (GKNB) noted that the control over the movement of funds is carried out in strict accordance with the current legislation of the country.
Ulanbek Zhaanbaev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, raised the issue of the problems faced by entrepreneurs when bringing cash from Russia. He pointed out the delays of funds at the airports of Bishkek and Osh.
At the parliamentary meeting on March 4, Zhaanbaev reported that GKNB employees are detaining funds that businessmen are trying to bring into the country. He noted that at least two appeals on this issue have already been received and called for ensuring the free import of money without hindrance to business.
The record of the GKNB of Kyrgyzstan responding to the deputy regarding the issues of bringing money from Russia first appeared on the K-News website.
