Civil servants of Kyrgyzstan underwent training at MEPhI on cybersecurity of the CSTO
Training on the program "Information Security of Automated Systems" for specialists from CSTO member states took place at the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" in Russia. Certificates of advanced training were presented to civil servants of Kyrgyzstan by the Secretary of the Security Council, Adilet Orozbekov.

In his speech, Orozbekov noted that digital technologies are penetrating all crucial areas of state life, including the economy, transportation, healthcare, and defense. He also emphasized that the rapid development of digitalization creates both new opportunities and serious challenges for the country. Therefore, within the framework of the CSTO, special attention is paid to creating collective mechanisms for protecting the information space.

One of the main tools in this area is the operation "PROXY," which includes a series of operational and preventive measures aimed at combating content that threatens national interests. This operation addresses issues such as electronic fraud, illegal drug and arms trafficking, money laundering, human trafficking, and the spread of malicious software.

An important step towards strengthening regional security was the first International CSTO Conference on Cybersecurity, held in Kyrgyzstan in May 2025. The outcomes of this conference became the basis for forming relevant priorities in the work of the Organization. The presentation of certificates to MEPhI graduates is the next step in implementing the strategy for creating a professional personnel reserve to ensure cybersecurity in the republic.
