The highest number of incidents was recorded for Visa cards, with 591 transactions amounting to 25.4 million soms. For MasterCard, 61 cases were registered, totaling 2.18 million soms, while there were 50 transactions on "Elkart" cards amounting to 1.38 million soms.
A comparison with the III quarter of 2025 shows that the number of such transactions increased from 641 to 702, and the total amount of funds rose 2.6 times — from 10.95 million to 28.96 million soms.
Additionally, commercial banks reported 13 cases of unauthorized transactions made with foreign bank cards within the Kyrgyz banking network, totaling 383.7 thousand soms. To minimize financial risks for cardholders in these identified cases, work is being carried out with claims in accordance with the rules of payment systems.
