Lawmakers approved an agreement to abolish visas for diplomatic passports with a number of countries

The deputies approved the agreement on visa cancellation for diplomatic passports with several countries

The Committee on International Affairs, Security, Defense, and Migration approved bills regarding the ratification of agreements on mutual visa cancellation for diplomats and holders of service passports with several countries, such as Egypt, Oman, Slovenia, and the Benelux countries, at its last meeting.

During the discussion, several bills were reviewed and approved in three readings, including:

- "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Benelux countries on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of valid diplomatic and service passports, signed on June 18, 2025, in Brussels";
- "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on mutual visa cancellation for holders of diplomatic passports, signed on October 16, 2025, in Ljubljana";
- "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on mutual cancellation of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, signed on September 25, 2025, in New York";
- "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on mutual visa cancellation for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, signed on November 4, 2025, in Cairo".

The bills were presented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almaz Imangaziev.
