On March 10, 2026, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic made a decision to terminate the powers of the district electoral commission No. 13, which was formed in October 2025.

The reason for dissolving the commission was the cancellation of the repeat elections in district No. 13, which occurred as a result of a review of the election results from November 30, 2025.

Let us remind you that on November 30, 2025, extraordinary elections for deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh took place. However, on December 3, 2025, the Central Election Commission annulled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to identified violations related to the installation of cameras by observers at polling stations, which violated the principles of secret voting.

Repeat elections were scheduled for March 1, 2026, and 23 candidates were registered to participate in them. However, on February 13, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums reviewed its previous decision regarding the early elections in the multi-mandate district No. 13, annulled the previous resolution, and recognized the elections as valid. As a result, deputies were elected: Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova. After that, a complaint was filed in court to cancel the repeat elections in district No. 13, and the court recognized this decision as legal.
