On October 27, 2025, a statement was received at the Sokuluk District Internal Affairs Department from a resident of Shopokov, D.T., born in 1990. In his appeal, he described an incident that occurred on May 15, 2025, when citizen T.R. gained his trust and deceitfully offered to exchange a KIA Morning car for a more expensive KIA K7 model. Additionally, he received 2,500 US dollars from D.T.
After the transaction, T.R. registered the KIA K7 vehicle with the leasing company "Unaa Leasing," after which he took it back without returning the money and evading the terms of the contract.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
On March 13, 2026, as a result of operational activities, police officers detained the suspect T.R., born in 1991, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, an investigation is underway to determine the detainee's involvement in other similar crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
