In an interview with the AKIpress agency, the chairman of the GKNB, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, spoke about the process of self-purification in the national security agencies aimed at getting rid of dishonest employees.
As a result of internal investigations conducted by the Security Service, a number of strict administrative and disciplinary measures were taken against nearly a hundred employees.
“Among them, 7 people were completely dismissed, and 83 were removed from their positions and transferred to reserve. The vast majority of GKNB employees, about 99%, perform their duties diligently and responsibly. However, as in any system, serious violations sometimes occur on the part of individual employees. Currently, we are engaged in cleansing from such dishonest personnel,” he noted.
