At a recent parliamentary meeting, Deputy Mahabat Mavlyanova proposed the initiative to provide free education at the Kyrgyz-Slavic University for those applicants who demonstrate the highest results on the national testing (ORT).

She urged the university administration to consider this proposal, noting that many families are unable to afford tuition, even though their children have significant potential.

In response to her initiative, Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation Bekbosun Borubashev reported that in 2025, Kyrgyzstan will allocate 135 budget places for KRSU, while Russia will provide 555 places.
