At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, chairpersons and their deputies for the relevant committees were elected.
Parliamentary groups presented their candidates.
As a result, the following deputies were elected to the committees:
- Bakyt Tentishev headed the Committee on Industrial Policy, Transport, Fuel and Energy Complex, Architecture and Construction;
- Gulnara Akimbaeva became the chairperson of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Local Self-Government and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh;
- Kubanychbek Samakov was elected as the chairperson of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Water Resources, Subsoil Use, Ecology and Environmental Protection;
- Yrysbek Atazhanov took the position of chairperson of the Committee on Science, Education, Innovative Development and Information Technologies, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs;
- Zhanibek Amatov is now the deputy chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration;
- Gulsharqan Kultaeva was elected as the deputy chairperson of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Local Self-Government and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh;
- Rustambek uulu Sovetbek became the deputy chairperson of the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs and Social Issues;
- Nurjamal Torobekova was elected as the deputy chairperson of the Committee on Science, Education, Innovative Development and Information Technologies, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs. ```
