In 2025, OJSC "Kyrgyz Komur" achieved significant results, extracting 1 million 385 thousand tons of coal, which exceeded planned indicators by 116–117%. This was reported by the company's Deputy General Director Rustam Sadyraliyev in an interview on the radio.

By the end of the year, revenue amounted to 6.5 billion soms, while expenses approached 6 billion soms, resulting in a net profit of 511 million soms.

Sadyraliyev noted that the enterprise holds about 30 licenses and employs approximately one thousand staff. The main coal deposits are located in the northern part of the country, including the Karakete open-pit mine, from which coal is supplied to the Chui, Issyk-Kul, and Naryn regions, as well as to the capital, Bishkek.

Of the total production volume, about 590 thousand tons of coal were directed to the Bishkek CHPP, while the remaining part, approximately 700–800 thousand tons, was distributed among the population and social institutions.

In 2025, there was also an increase in coal exports: if in 2024 it was about 290 thousand tons, in 2025 this figure rose to 411 thousand tons, as emphasized by Sadyraliyev.

Additionally, the company significantly increased the volume of overburden removal, completing more than 9.7 million cubic meters against a plan of 8 million cubic meters.

In 2024, 29 units of equipment were acquired, and in 2025, 46 units, indicating an expansion of the enterprise's technical base.

In September 2025, the company transformed into a joint-stock company, which, according to Sadyraliyev, contributed to improving financial capabilities and strengthening interaction with the business sector.
