Kyrgyzstan sets ambitious goals for economic growth in the coming years. This was stated by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the chairman of the cabinet of ministers, in an interview with the interstate television and radio company "Mir".

According to Kasymaliev, a development strategy has already been developed for the country until 2030, which outlines the main directions and goals. It is expected that the gross domestic product will reach at least 30 billion dollars, while last year's figure was approximately 22.6 billion dollars.

Kasymaliev also noted that actual growth indicators may exceed the established benchmarks. In his opinion, the key sectors contributing to economic development will be industry, construction, agriculture, and services. In the agricultural sector, growth is expected to be in the range of 2-4%.

At the same time, special attention will be paid to industrial development. The government's plans include opening at least 100 new enterprises. To improve project management efficiency, responsible ministers will be assigned to each new facility, which is analogous to the practice used in Uzbekistan.
