At a recent cabinet meeting, Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev announced that in 2025, the consolidated budget of the country will exceed 1.1 trillion soms, marking the first time this threshold has been crossed in Kyrgyzstan's history.

According to the information policy service of the presidential administration, changes to the republican budget for 2025–2027 were also discussed at the meeting.

According to Kasymaliev, the consolidated budget for 2024 was approved at 708.8 billion soms, and it is expected to grow to 1.1 trillion soms by the end of the year, representing an increase of 153.8% and the formation of a surplus of more than 10 billion soms.

Kasymaliev also emphasized stable macroeconomic indicators.

“In the first ten months of this year, GDP grew by 10%. Kyrgyzstan ranks among the top three countries with the highest GDP growth rates according to the IMF. The forecast for the end of the year is 1.779 trillion soms, exceeding the forecast by 155.6 billion soms,” he noted.

The highest growth is observed in the construction sector — an average of 42.8% per year. GDP per capita in 2025 will be $2,616, with a forecast growth to $2,770 by the end of the year.
