Farhat Iminov, chairman of the National Council for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies, previously reported that the volume of cryptocurrency transactions increased from 5 billion soms in 2022 to 860 billion soms in the first half of 2025.
According to the regulator, 185 licenses were issued to virtual asset exchange operators, 13 licenses for trading operators, and 10 certificates for mining.
The total tax revenue from virtual asset service providers and mining companies amounted to 2 billion 41.7 million soms.
