The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has published information on the status of microfinance organizations as of September 30, 2025, compared to data from the end of 2024.
The total assets of MFIs amounted to 71.2 billion soms, an increase of 12.4 billion soms, which represents a 21% growth.
The loan portfolio in the microfinance segment reached 57.6 billion soms, increasing by 9.6 billion soms, or 20%.
Financing based on Islamic principles amounted to 1.8 billion soms, which is 0.3 billion soms more, or a 17% increase.
The authorized capital of microfinance organizations grew to 14.3 billion soms, which is 1.4 billion soms more, corresponding to an 11% increase.
The total volume of the deposit base of microfinance organizations amounted to 9.8 billion soms, with an increase of 2.3 billion soms, or 31% since the beginning of the year.
