At a recent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev announced that by 2025, the consolidated budget will exceed 1.1 trillion soms. This will be the first time the country surpasses the "historic trillion mark."

The previously approved budget of 708.8 billion soms has been revised, and by the end of the year, its value increased by 381.7 billion soms, reaching 153.8 percent of the initial figure.
The budget surplus will amount to more than 10 billion soms.
Kasymaliev added that over the past ten months of the current year, the growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) reached 10 percent. According to data from the International Monetary Fund, Kyrgyzstan ranked among the top countries in the world for real economic growth.

The planned GDP volume in the budget law was set at 1 trillion 624 billion soms; however, after ten months, this figure reached 1 trillion 427 billion 359 million soms. It is expected that by the end of the year, GDP will grow to 1 trillion 779 billion soms, which is 155.6 billion more than the approved plan.

Growth is observed in all key sectors of the economy, with particularly high rates in construction, where the average annual growth is 42.8 percent. The forecast for GDP per capita in 2025 is $2,616, while the expected figure for the end of this year is $2,770.

The head of the Cabinet emphasized that despite the slowdown in the global economy, Kyrgyzstan continues to demonstrate stable growth and political stability. As of October 2025, the country's international reserves reached nearly $8 billion, having increased by more than $3 billion over the year.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the government approved a proposal to amend the republican budget.
