According to population data (taking into account changes from the administrative-territorial reform), as of January 1, 2025, the population of Kyrgyzstan is 7,281.8 thousand people.

This is reported in the data from the National Statistical Committee of the KR.

According to the agency, of this number, the urban population is 3,037.3 thousand, and the rural population is 4,244.5 thousand.

The resident population amounted to 6,607.1 thousand people (urban — 3,000.7 thousand, rural — 3,606.4 thousand).
