This was reported by the city administration.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, co-chairman of the International Delphic Committee, Dyusen Kaseinov, as well as jury members and competition participants.
The head of the capital emphasized in his welcoming speech the importance of these Games as a platform for revealing the creative abilities of youth and strengthening cultural ties between states.
"Participation in these Games is itself a significant achievement. Taking the stage and demonstrating your skills is a recognition of your talent. I am confident that you will continue to develop your abilities and achieve high results, and we will be proud of your successes both nationally and internationally," noted Aybek Junushaliev.
The city administration also noted that the 'Folk Dance' nomination holds a special place and is considered one of the most popular. This genre of performing arts attracts attention due to its combination of rhythm, plasticity, expressiveness of movements, and close connection with musical accompaniment. In 2026, this nomination gained significant scale, gathering 376 participants.
