The IV republican stage of the school olympiad took place in Bishkek, gathering the best students from across the country. This event was announced by the Ministry of Education.
The solemn opening took place at the Chyngyz Aitmatov Lyceum, where Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova, Director of the Center for Educational Assessment and Teaching Methodology Chynara Batrakeeva, Deputy Director of the "Kyrgyzstan Maarif" Foundation Kiyalbek Akmatov, and other representatives were present.
In her speech, Jusupbekova noted that the key principle of the olympiad is the victory of those who deserve it.
She emphasized that all participants have already achieved significant success by passing preliminary selections.
“You have overcome many obstacles and shown perseverance to be here. Each of you is already a winner. I am confident that your results will be outstanding. You are the future of our country, a new generation that will contribute to the development of science and education,” she added, wishing the students success.
About 330 schoolchildren who took prize-winning places in regional and city stages are participating in the final of the olympiad.
The competitions are taking place at several venues: at the Chyngyz Aitmatov Lyceum (mathematics, physics, history, computer science, geography), at the Aychurok Lyceum (Kyrgyz, Russian, and English languages), and at the I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University (chemistry and biology).
The olympiad will last for two days, and the solemn awarding of the winners will take place on March 30. ```
