Deputy Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan, Nadira Jusupbekova, announced at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency that this academic year, admission to schools will only be for first graders. There will be no enrollment for the 2nd grade.

She also noted that last year, enrollments were opened for both the first and second grades, which was part of the transition to a 12-year education system. These actions were temporary and related to changes in the education system.
