In Kyrgyzstan, there are 271 home-type kindergartens, as announced by Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Baymurzaev at a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.
According to the ministry, 6,228 children are raised in such institutions, and more than 800 people are employed there.
As specified by the Ministry of Education, many of these kindergartens are located in rented premises. For example, there are 44 such kindergartens in Kara-Suu, more than 60 in Uzgen, and 41 in the Nookat district. The rental of premises is carried out from private owners, with the rental expenses covered by the state budget.
