The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has decided to amend a number of regulatory acts related to vocational and higher education. This information was disseminated by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

According to the new resolution, a state enterprise called the "Center for the Admission of Foreign Students" will be established under the Ministry of Science. Its main task is to streamline the process of admitting foreign applicants and ensure its transparency.

In addition, the document introduces new rules for admission to universities. In particular, the part-time form of education for applicants with secondary education will no longer be available. However, distance and part-time learning will remain possible for certain programs, including master's degrees.

The requirements for foreign students have also been clarified: they must now provide a mandatory health insurance policy, as well as educational documents certified by authorized bodies.

Furthermore, the procedure for distributing state educational grants has changed. The concept of "budget places" has now been excluded from a number of regulations, and the focus has shifted to a grant funding system.

Special conditions are provided for graduates of the presidential lyceum "AkyIman": they are required to be employed in state institutions after completing their studies.

The record "New Admission Rules for Universities in Kyrgyzstan" first appeared on the K-News website.
