On April 1, a meeting was held in Kyrgyzstan organized by the employees of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance. Representatives of the Republican Center for Quarantine and Especially Dangerous Infections (RCQEDI), the Republican Center for Strengthening Health (RCSH), and the management of the Ala-Archa Natural Park also participated. According to the Ministry of Health, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss preparations for the tick activity season.

During the event, participants discussed strategies for informing vacationers about the potential risks associated with tick bites, as well as methods of protection against them. Significant attention was paid to the collaboration of different agencies to enhance the effectiveness of preventive measures.

Park administration representatives announced plans to inform visitors through various communication channels. Recommendations will be provided to vacationers on rules of behavior in nature, the use of repellents, and actions to take in case of a tick bite.

Ministry of Health employees emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach to the prevention of tick-borne infections and urged park visitors to adhere to personal safety measures.
