An important step in the modernization of healthcare was the discussion led by the First Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov. He met with Indira Moldogazieva, representing the German Development Bank (KfW), and Kerez Kelishova, a project manager from the consulting company GITEC-IGIP. The agenda included the implementation of a digital inventory system for medical equipment known as SAMEDIS.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the participants of the meeting were briefed on the current status of the "Healthcare V" program, which is being implemented with financial support from Germany. Technical aspects such as data updating and ensuring stable system operation in healthcare institutions were discussed.

A significant moment of the meeting was the handover of equipment: 150 printers and 1000 cartridges that are necessary to support the operations of medical institutions and maintain digital accounting.

Currently, training sessions for staff have been conducted in healthcare institutions, and the system has already been successfully launched. The inventory process continues in the regions, while in Bishkek and the Chuy region, the main stages have already been completed, and organizations have transitioned to regular information updates.

Employees of the relevant departments have also undergone additional training to work with the database and ensure the quality of the entered data. In the future, the accounting of medical equipment will be carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia".

The next step includes organizing technical support and developing digital solutions.
