The avalanche threat will affect the following areas:
Kashkadarya Region: Dehkanabad, Kitab, Kamashinsky, and Shahrihansky districts;
Surkhandarya Region: Baysun, Kumkurgan, Saryasiya, and Uzun districts;
Samarkand Region: Nurabad, Kushrabat, Samarkand, and Urgut districts;
Jizzakh Region: Bakhmal and Zaamin districts;
Tashkent Region: Bostanlyk, Parkent, and Akhangaran districts (specifically, the Chatkal mountain system);
Namangan Region: Pap district.
Authorities urge residents of mountainous areas, as well as tourists and drivers heading to these zones, to take precautions.
