
As of December 1, there are 461 pensioners aged 100 and older registered in the country. Notably, among the centenarians, women significantly outnumber men — they make up nearly 75% of the total, corresponding to 330 women, while there are only 131 men who have reached the age of 100.
The distribution of centenarians across the regions of Uzbekistan is uneven. The highest number of pensioners over 100 years old resides in the southern regions. Kashkadarya region ranks first with 73 centenarians, while Surkhandarya region follows with 69 pensioners in this age group.
In Tashkent region, there are currently 41 pensioners who have crossed the century mark. In contrast, Namangan region has the lowest number of centenarians — only 11 pensioners aged 100 and older.
