In the first nine months of 2025, the electronic incident journal recorded 16,284 incidents related to domestic violence. This is significantly higher than in the same period of 2024, when there were 12,410 such cases, indicating an increase of 31.2%.
The distribution of registered cases by region is as follows:
- Bishkek — 9423;
- Chui Region — 2907;
- Issyk-Kul Region — 1044;
- Jalal-Abad Region — 630;
- Osh Region — 606;
- Batken Region — 623;
- Naryn Region — 431;
- Osh — 385;
- Talas Region — 235.
In percentage terms compared to 2024, the largest increase in cases is observed in Bishkek (by 41.9%) and Osh Region (by 45.3%). The smallest growth was recorded in Talas Region (+1%) and the city of Osh (+1.5%).
