According to information provided by the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance, the situation with the influenza and ARVI epidemic in Kyrgyzstan remains stable.

In the 43rd week of 2025 (from October 20 to 26), the country registered 6,699 cases of ARVI, which is 13.9% higher compared to the previous week, when 5,887 cases of ARVI were recorded.

Among the infected, 64.6% are children under 14 years old, which accounts for 4,329 cases. Notably, 6.7% of the infected were hospitalized (452 cases).

The highest incidence is observed in Bishkek, Osh, as well as in Naryn and Chui regions.

During the observations, circulating viruses were identified: adenovirus (34.8%), rhinovirus (30.4%), parainfluenza I-IV (17.4%), and other viruses (17.4%) (4).

To prevent severe forms of the disease, 63,734 doses of the influenza vaccine have been purchased. Vaccination is carried out free of charge at Family Medicine Centers, with priority given to individuals from at-risk groups: people with chronic diseases, frequently ill children, pregnant women, elderly individuals over 65 years old, and healthcare workers.
