She contacted the Osh City Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision requesting an inspection of the establishment and, if violations are found, to hold the responsible parties accountable.
“This situation is a gross violation of Articles 11 and 12 of the Law on Consumer Rights Protection, as well as sanitary norms. It may threaten the health of city residents and raises questions about safety. This is particularly relevant considering that the bathhouse is mainly visited by ordinary citizens—pensioners, workers, and low-income families,” her appeal states.
According to the Osh City Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, the complaint against the bathhouse "Döwlet" has been officially registered.
The center explained that this bathhouse belongs to a private entrepreneur, and they cannot conduct an inspection without permission, as the owner could sue them. According to the legislation, it is necessary to first obtain permission from the Ministry of Economy. Currently, documents are being prepared to obtain such permission for the inspection of the bathhouse "Döwlet."
Representatives of the sanitary and epidemiological supervision also noted that no complaints from consumers regarding public bathhouses in Osh had been received before. However, this does not indicate full compliance of all bathhouses with sanitary norms, as the center does not have the right to conduct unscheduled inspections.
