The Incidence of ARVI and Influenza in Kyrgyzstan Continues to Rise
Experts noted that this is a 17.3% increase compared to the previous week.
Of the total number of cases, 65.5% are children under 14 years old, which corresponds to 5.2 thousand cases. Among them, 8.5% were hospitalized, amounting to 679 cases.
The highest levels of morbidity are observed in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions, where the rates exceed the national average.
In the capital, Osh, and Tokmok, monitoring continues for severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses.
According to samples collected in the previous week, 17 cases of influenza were detected in Bishkek and the southern capital, of which 16 cases are influenza A/H3N2 and 1 case is influenza B.
Among acute respiratory viral infections, there is a predominance of adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, parainfluenza, and other viruses.
