The number of visits to the Children's Specialized Consultative Clinic has increased
She emphasized that there is currently a seasonal increase in illnesses, which leads to children being able to infect each other.
“Compared to the summer period, we are recording an increase in visits to our clinic. This is related to the change of season, the drop in temperature, as well as the fact that schools and kindergartens continue to operate, gathering children,” noted Bokuyeva.
Additionally, the pediatrician reported that there are severe cases in children that require hospitalization. “Sometimes parents try to treat their children on their own or send them to school with ARVI symptoms. After such cases, complications often arise,” she explained.
Bokuyeva also added that at the first signs of ARVI, it is important to follow doctors' recommendations and avoid places with large crowds of people.
