The highest incidence rates were recorded in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions. More than 63.7% of those infected are children under 14 years old.
In this regard, the following preventive measures have been taken:
- a mask regime has been introduced and restrictions on visiting hospitals in all medical institutions across the country;
- measures for disinfection and ventilation have been strengthened in kindergartens, schools, and higher educational institutions;
- monitoring of disease incidence among children has been organized.
“The epidemiological situation remains under control and stable. Monitoring of ARVI, influenza, and COVID-19 incidence continues,” the Ministry of Health added.
