State funding covers all necessary aspects of hepatitis B and C treatment, including doctor consultations, laboratory tests, antiviral medications, and monitoring the effectiveness of therapy.
Citizens aged 24 to 65, as well as those who have not yet been vaccinated, can receive the hepatitis B vaccine for free.
“Vaccination is carried out in three stages: the first dose is administered on the day of vaccination, the second — after a month, and the third — after six months, which ensures long-term protection,” specialists noted.

According to the 2024 epidemiological study, the prevalence of chronic hepatitis B in the country is 3.3%, while hepatitis C is 2.3%.
Studies show that vaccination against hepatitis B has a 95% effectiveness rate. The vaccines arriving in Kyrgyzstan, according to information from the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis, undergo mandatory certification and compliance checks with safety standards.
