The highest number of cases was registered in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions.
Among the patients, 63.7% are children under 14 years old.
As part of the fight against seasonal viruses, the Ministry of Health is completing the vaccination against influenza. A total of 63,700 doses of the "Grippol Plus" vaccine have been purchased for at-risk groups, and vaccination has currently been completed at 90.5%. The vaccine is also available for a fee at some private medical institutions.
In addition, the country's laboratories received 10,000 test systems for diagnosing influenza.
To prevent the spread of infections, the following measures have been implemented:
- mask-wearing and restrictions on visiting hospitals in all healthcare institutions;
- enhanced disinfection and ventilation procedures in kindergartens, schools, and universities;
- monitoring the level of illness among children.
The Ministry of Health reminds:
- vaccination is the most effective way to protect against severe forms of influenza;
- if you have a fever and symptoms of ARVI, it is recommended to stay at home and consult a doctor;
- observing hygiene standards and wearing masks in crowded places helps reduce the risk of infection.
“The situation with the epidemic remains stable and under control. Monitoring of ARVI, influenza, and COVID-19 morbidity continues,” the agency noted.
