
According to data provided by the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, 6,787 cases of ARVI were registered in Kyrgyzstan during the 45th week of 2025 (from November 3 to November 9). This is an increase of 3.3% compared to the previous week. The information was published by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The highest number of cases was noted in the capital Bishkek, as well as in Osh, Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions. It is worth noting that among the infected, 63.7% are children under the age of 14.
To prevent seasonal infections, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is completing the vaccination against influenza. A total of 63,734 doses of the "Grippol Plus" vaccine were purchased for at-risk groups, and currently, vaccination has been completed for 90.5%.
The flu vaccine is also available on a paid basis at several private medical institutions, such as "Tsadmira," "Malysh," "Krokha," "Intermedical," "Edelweiss," "KG," "Comfort Medic," "Polyclinic No. 312," and "Chipenko." The prices for vaccination range from 400 to 1,000 soms.
To improve flu diagnostics, an additional 10,000 test systems have been delivered to the country's laboratories.
In addition, a number of preventive measures have been implemented:
- A mask regime and restrictions on visiting hospitals have been established in all medical institutions;
- Measures for disinfection and ventilation have been strengthened in kindergartens, schools, and higher educational institutions;
- Continuous monitoring of morbidity among children has been organized.
- Vaccination is the best means of protection against severe forms of influenza;
- In case of fever and symptoms of ARVI, it is recommended to stay at home and consult a doctor;
- Adhering to hygiene standards and wearing masks in crowded places significantly reduces the risk of infection.
