From October 28 to November 3, a series of training sessions was organized in Bishkek, aimed at developing skills in data analysis and utilization in the healthcare sector. This information was presented by the press service of the Ministry of Health on November 3.

Participants in the training have the opportunity to work with real and training datasets, allowing them to assess vaccination coverage and epidemiological surveillance indicators. Based on the data obtained, they develop recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of public health programs, with a focus on combating diseases that can be prevented through vaccination, such as measles.

On October 30-31, healthcare staff at the regional and district levels underwent practical training dedicated to data analysis and triangulation, which contributes to improved planning and monitoring. The completion of the training series will take place on November 3 with a session focusing on the Measles Risk Assessment Tool (MRAT), which helps identify high-risk areas and develop preventive measures.

As noted by Dr. Janara Bekenova, WHO technical officer for immunization: "Reliable and thoroughly analyzed data is the foundation of effective immunization programs. By strengthening the capabilities of healthcare workers in interpreting and using data, Kyrgyzstan is becoming better prepared to provide quality immunization services for all."
