On October 31, around 10:00 PM, patients with symptoms of food poisoning, including multiple vomiting, diarrhea, and severe abdominal pain, were hospitalized at the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital.
Preliminary data indicates that all the affected individuals consumed shawarma during lunch at school on the same day.
A total of 58 people sought medical assistance, including 54 children and 4 adults.
- Of these, 9 individuals (7 children and 2 adults) were hospitalized, and their condition is stable.
- 49 patients were discharged for outpatient treatment after receiving necessary medical assistance, along with provided recommendations.
All patients underwent gastric lavage until clear water was achieved, and stool samples were taken for analysis.
“All hospitalized patients are fully provided with necessary medications at the expense of the hospital. Specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service continue to investigate the causes of the incident,” the Ministry of Health reported.
Parents of the affected individuals claim that the incident occurred specifically at the "Seitek STEM" school.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the educational complex "Seitek-STEM" was re-registered on September 7, 2023. The founder is Svetlana Duyshombievna Sapaeva, and the director is Rustambek Adilbekovich Satybaldiev.
