On the night of October 31, 2025, at 10:30 PM, patients with symptoms of food poisoning were admitted to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, among which were noted repeated vomiting, diarrhea, and severe pain sensations.
According to preliminary data, all those affected consumed shawarma in the school cafeteria between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
A total of 58 people sought medical attention, of which 54 are children and 4 are adults.
- 9 people have been hospitalized (including 7 children and 2 adults), their condition is currently stable.
- 49 patients received the necessary medical assistance and were discharged for outpatient treatment with doctors' recommendations.
All patients underwent gastric lavage until complete cleansing and had tests done.
The hospitalized patients are fully provided with the necessary medications at the expense of the institution.
The sanitary-epidemiological service continues to investigate this incident.
