Many of them are children
There is an increasing trend of ARVI cases in Kyrgyzstan. Citizens are actively sharing information about this on social media.
“When we arrived at the hospital, we saw many patients. Both adults and children are suffering from the illness,” they write.
“The 103 service recommends staying home if there are no serious complications. They provide consultations if necessary,” users add.
“When I entered the pharmacy, I noticed a small line. Almost everyone standing there complains of a cold, high fever, and cough,” they warn.
Medical workers inform that the cold season has begun and recommend dressing warmly, avoiding self-medication, and visiting clinics if complications arise.
According to the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, from October 20 to 26, 2025, there were 6,699 reported cases of ARVI in Kyrgyzstan, which is 13.9% more than the previous week.
