To prevent illnesses, the Ministry of Health recommends following these simple rules:
- When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow;
- Avoid overcooling and overheating;
- If you feel unwell or have flu symptoms, stay at home;
- Follow hygiene standards: wash your hands regularly, ventilate rooms, and do wet cleaning;
- Maintain a balance between study and rest: walk in the fresh air, ensure adequate sleep and healthy nutrition;
- Engage in physical activity and morning exercises;
- If a child is ill, do not send them to school or kindergarten until they are fully recovered and consult a doctor;
- In crowded places, use masks and maintain social distance.
If symptoms of ARVI or influenza appear, it is recommended not to self-medicate but to consult a doctor.
