Measurements were conducted at stationary observation posts, where levels of various pollutants were recorded, such as dust, nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), carbon monoxide (CO), and formaldehyde.
The average daily pollution levels exceeded sanitary and hygienic standards for the following indicators:
- nitrogen dioxide — by 1.75 times;
- formaldehyde — by 2.33 times;
- particulate matter PM₁₀ — by 1.8 times;
- particulate matter PM₂.₅ — by 1.2 times.
Experts warn of the potentially negative impact of high pollution levels on the health of citizens, especially among vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and people with chronic respiratory diseases.
