Kyrgyzstan sets an ambitious goal — to double the volume of agro-export by 2030. This was announced by Rustam Baltabaev, acting director of the Association for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the republic, during a panel session at the international exhibition KyrgyzTransLogistic 2025.

He noted that in accordance with the presidential decree signed last year, more than 35 areas have been identified concerning the support of exports, processing of agricultural products, and attracting investments.

“The president has set us the task: to double exports by 2030 and to increase the level of processing to 50 percent by 2040,” he emphasized, adding that effective logistics are necessary for the successful development of the agro-industrial sector.

According to him, export directly depends on transportation and logistics solutions. Without addressing these issues, it is impossible to achieve sustainable growth in this area.
