
According to the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, in Kyrgyzstan, during the 45th week of 2025 (from November 3 to 9), 6,787 cases of ARVI were registered. This is an increase of 3.3% compared to the same period last week, according to a report from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The highest number of cases was noted in major cities such as Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions. Of the total number of cases, 63.7% are children under 14 years old.
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is completing its influenza vaccination campaign as part of the prevention of seasonal infections. A total of 63,734 doses of the "Grippol Plus" vaccine were purchased for at-risk groups, and vaccination has been completed for 90.5%.
In addition, in several private medical institutions, influenza vaccination is available on a paid basis. These centers include "Tsadmіr," "Malysh," "Krokha," "Intermedical," "Edelweiss," "KG," "Comfort Medic," "Polyclinic No. 312," "Chipenko," and the cost of the service ranges from 400 to 1,000 soms.
Additionally, the country's laboratories received an additional 10,000 test systems for influenza diagnosis.
The introduction of a set of preventive measures includes:
- mandatory wearing of masks and restrictions on visits to hospitals in all medical institutions;
- enhanced disinfection and ventilation measures in kindergartens, schools, and universities;
- monitoring of morbidity among children.
- vaccination is the most effective protection against severe forms of influenza;
- in case of fever and symptoms of ARVI, it is necessary to stay at home and consult a doctor;
- observing hygiene standards and wearing masks in public places reduce the risk of infection.
