A mask regime has been introduced in all medical institutions of Kyrgyzstan
The highest level of morbidity is observed in Bishkek, Osh, as well as in Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions. Among the sick, 63.7% are children under 14 years old.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health is completing the vaccination campaign against influenza, for which 63,734 doses of the Grippol Plus vaccine were purchased. The vaccination rate among at-risk groups has reached 90.5%.
Vaccination is also available on a paid basis at several private medical institutions, such as Tsadmira, Malysh, Kroha, Intermedical, Edelweiss, KG, Comfort Medic, Polyclinic No. 312, and Chipenko. The prices for vaccination range from 400 to 1000 soms.
To ensure timely diagnosis of influenza, an additional 10,000 test systems have been delivered to the country's laboratories.
The Ministry of Health has decided to implement a set of preventive measures, including:
mask-wearing and restrictions on visiting hospitals in medical institutions;
enhanced disinfection measures and ventilation in kindergartens, schools, and universities;
monitoring the level of morbidity among children.
The ministry also reminds that:
vaccination is the most effective way to protect against severe forms of influenza;
in case of fever and the appearance of ARVI symptoms, it is necessary to stay at home and consult a doctor;
compliance with hygiene standards and wearing masks in public places helps reduce the risk of infection.
The epidemiological situation in the country continues to remain under control and stable. Monitoring of ARVI, influenza, and COVID-19 morbidity is ongoing.
