Elon Musk, the American entrepreneur and founder of several successful companies, has become the first person in history whose net worth has exceeded $800 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
As stated in the article, this record was set after SpaceX, Musk's space company, acquired xAI — his own company specializing in artificial intelligence and social networks.
According to Forbes' estimates, the deal that resulted in the creation of a combined company valued at $1.25 trillion led to an increase in Musk's wealth by $84 billion, raising his total to $852 billion.
It is worth noting that in December of last year, Forbes already reported that Musk had become the first person with a net worth over $700 billion.
