Porsche's net profit, the well-known sports car manufacturer, amounted to only 310 million euros for the year 2025. This is a significant decrease compared to nearly 3.6 billion euros in 2024, as reported by DW.
According to agency data, the company's revenue also fell by almost 10%, totaling around 36.3 billion euros. The main reasons for this decline were difficulties in the Chinese market, high costs due to tariffs in the U.S., and a strategic focus on extending the lifespan of internal combustion engines.
The new CEO of Porsche, Michael Leiters, announced plans to revise the model range and implement cost optimization measures; however, this will be carried out in the context of a challenging market and geopolitical instability.
